Perut Rumah Nyonya Cuisine Review

I went there with 3 of my friends. The restaurant is a heritage building and well decorated in Nyonya design style. It was my first time to have dinner in such a nice original Nyonya restaurant. It was a very unforgettable experience. First, look at the interior. It is 100% Nyonya decoration with the antique cupboard decorated with unique and antique dinner ware. I very like their flooring design which is made up with colorful ceramic tiles. That day, there were many customers went there to have dinner and almost all the table have been booked. The waiter and waitress service was very nice and helpful. They provide us a big table and the foods were served fast. The menu was including Kerabu, Inchee Kabin (Nyoya Fried Chicken, Sambai Petai, Loh Bak & Poh Piah Chee, MengKuang, Soup and Vegetable. They had offered 7 dishes for 2 persons! They were so generous! Actually, the dishes were more than enough for 2 persons. We didn’t order more dishes and we just pay RM9 for the addition order-plain rice and drinks. The dishes were very delicious and come with original Nyonya flavor. The dishes I like the most was Loh Bak & Poh Piah Chee. It was crispy and “poh poh chui”. The sambai petai was also another flavor of mine. It was not so spicy and I will recommend it to those who like sambai petai. The best sambai petai is found here! The decoration was unique, the services offered were nice and the dishes were delicious. I definitely will recommend my friend to go there!
